Fun Fact Friday: Chicks are born with a specialized tool to help them bust out of their eggs' shell known as an egg tooth. Think of it as a small chisel attached to their beek which helps them escape the confines of their tiny home. After 3 days the egg tooth falls off and the chick goes on with just it's regular beek.
P.S. If you are attending our Farm Tour tomorrow you might still observe the pipping tooth on the chicks that arrived here yesterday.
