Tuesday's Tip: Freezing Eggs

Welcome to our first Tuesday's Tip, where I hope to give you a new food or meal planning tip each week to help you use and enjoy farm fresh products! This week's tip is how to freeze eggs. Wanting to take advantage of our egg sale but don't think you can use all 10 dozen at once? Maybe give this a shot for use in baking in the future. To freeze whole eggs: Whisk eggs together until blended. Pour into a freezer safe container (I love to use silicone muffin trays for freezing foods in portion sizes). Once frozen transfer to a storage container with a lid. Label the container and freeze for up to 4 months. 3-4 Tbsp equals one large egg. For more info on freezing yolk or whites only see this article: getcracking.ca/article/can-you-freeze-eggs

If you have any things you would like tips on or tips I should share with others, let me know!
