Homemade Mayonnaise. We love making our own mayo from our own eggs. My favorite recipe is from the book: The Heal Your Gut Cookbook. You can make it with just olive oil (1 cup) but olive oil can have a strong flavor. I usually melt 1/2 cup coconut oil and then add the 1/2 olive oil too it before poruring it all in. Delicious on bread, or with egg salad. If using whey, or pickle juice to prolong the life of your mayo be sure to use active cultured whey/juice not from canned ferments.
